Getting Started

Eureqa is a program that attempts to find the simplest and most predictive equations that model the variables in your data.

To get started follow the following easy steps:

  1. Download the software and install it on your computer. It's free to use for as long as you want.
  2. Get your data and put it in a spreadsheet, such as Excel.
  3. Start Formulize
  4. Select the Enter Data tab, then copy and paste your data, one column at a time. Enter a name for each column on the var row, such as "x", "y", "z", etc.
  5. Select the Set Target tab to specify what kind of model you would like to find, such as "z=f(x,y)"
  6. Start the search by clicking the "Run" button on the Start Search Tab.
  7. Watch the results appear in the View Results tab
